Statement From Phil Angelides

SACRAMENTO, CA – California State Treasurer Phil Angelides issued the following statement today:

"My family and I send our thoughts and prayers to the loved ones of the brave firefighters who lost their lives today.  The firefighters died heroically, giving their own lives to save the homes and lives of others, and we will never forget their contributions. First responders risk their lives every day when they go to work, and we must always honor their sacrifices. We wish the injured firefighters a full and speedy recovery."
