Workers’ Compensation: Protecting Hard Working Families

Throughout his life, as a private citizen and as an elected official, Phil Angelides has always stood up for the rights of working men and women.  Phil Angelides believes that Governor Schwarzenegger’s “reforms” are devastating the hopes and future of working families. He will appoint a new Administrative Director of the Division of Workers' Compensation – one who will be fair and will protect the interests of injured workers and businesses who play by the rules.  Phil is committed to sitting down and collaborating with thoughtful business leaders and labor leaders to design a workers’ compensation system that roots out and eliminates fraud, protects our economic competitiveness, and protects injured workers.
